This mask is one of several copies created for Brenda Varda's Liquid, which performed at the Unknown Theatre in summer of 2009. These were brainwashed people forced to use the mask machine to filter oil away from sand from a nearby oil spill in order to preserve every last drop of oil. The design was based off of Edvard Munch's The Scream. Copies of this mask are available for purchase.
